Shri K V Satyanarayana, Executive Director, DDU-GKY, Centre for Skills and Jobs NIRDPR graced the convocation ceremony of the Retail Sales course of ICICI Academy for Skills, Hyderabad as the Chief Guest, awarded the course certificates and addressed the graduating students. All the students have been placed with leading retailers. The ceremony was organised by ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth on 11 February 2020.
ICICI Academy for Skills has set a benchmark in skilling for Retail and BFSI by tying up with industry as their knowledge partners which has resulted in setting a high benchmark in skilling.
In his convocation address, Shri K V Satyanarayana said that the students should feel lucky and grateful to have been skilled by an organisation like ICICI Academy. He urged the students to keep sharpening their skills while on the job to avoid stagnation and also pursue their studies by opting for distance education, so that their career prospects will not be hampered due to a lack of degree. He also shared with the students a few tips for success at work.
