SEEDAP\u2019s Social Media Blitz Bridges Gap for Unemployed Youth, Andhra Pradesh<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

AMARAVATI<\/strong> \u2014 In a significant shift toward digital governance and rural outreach, the Society for Employment Generation and Enterprise Development in Andhra Pradesh (SEEDAP) is revolutionizing how employment opportunities reach the state’s hinterlands. By leveraging a robust social media strategy, SEEDAP is successfully penetrating the remote corners of rural Andhra Pradesh, ensuring that no unemployed youth is left behind. SEEDAP\u2019s dedicated social media wing has changed the narrative, turning platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and WhatsApp into powerful engines for recruitment and awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driving Enrollment via DDU-GKY<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The primary beneficiary of this digital surge has been the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY). Through targeted posts, success stories, and real-time updates in the local language, SEEDAP has seen a marked increase in the mobilization of youth to DDU-GKY Training Centres.  Prospective students who previously had little to no information about government-sponsored skill training are now receiving comprehensive details about course availability, eligibility, and placement records directly on their smartphones. This digital bridge has empowered rural youth to take proactive steps toward financial independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Boon for Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The digital shift has also provided much-needed relief to Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs). Historically, PIAs shouldered the high costs of physical mobilization, including travel, printing brochures, and hiring field staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The social media initiatives by SEEDAP have drastically reduced our mobilization overheads,” said a representative of a leading PIA. “Because the youth are already aware of the programs through SEEDAP\u2019s official handles, our ground teams spend less time explaining the basics and more time on the technical aspects of enrollment. It has made the entire ecosystem more efficient.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As smartphone penetration continues to grow in rural Andhra Pradesh, SEEDAP plans to further enhance its digital footprint. Officials state that the goal is to create a seamless “Click-to-Career” pipeline where a rural youth can see an ad, register for a course, and track their training progress all through digital interfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By successfully merging technology with grassroots development, SEEDAP is not just creating awareness; it is building a more informed, skilled, and employable workforce for the future of Andhra Pradesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\/s Intecco Services Pvt Ltd. organized Employer Interaction and Campus placement for Himayat candidates in Samba District of Jammu division of J&K. Employers M\/s Sarve Shidh Services Pvt ltd and M\/s Numax Technical Services Pvt Ltd had participated and interacted with the enrolled candidates and interviewed them for placement opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TLM Distribution at DDUGKY-Himayat 2.0 Training centres<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chief Operating Officer (COO), Himayat Mission Management Unit (HMMU), Sh. Rajneesh Gupta (JKAS), visited the Himayat Training Centre of National Paramedical Sciences Society at Rajouri on 12 March 2026 and distributed Welcome Kits to the enrolled trainees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training program conducted in the month of March, 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The DDU-GKY RC has organized and facilitated multiple training programs \/ workshops in the month of March 2026. In the month total three programs were facilitated and organized by DDU-GKY RC. The programs were organized both on-campus & off-campus and online mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Off-Campus Programs\/ Workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the month a 3-day off campus training program was organized from 16-18 Mar\u201926 at Puducherry. This program was sponsored by MoRD and was conducted under Domain Competency Training Program under ACBP in FY 2025-26. The objective of this training program was to upskill the officials of Rural Development department on DDU-GKY program. In the training program 30 officials from the state of Sikkim, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh & Assam participated in the training program. In this program Ms. Jayanti Kanojiya (Under Secretary, MoRD) was also present to represent MoRD. The resource person for the training program were Mr. M Kumar Swamy (State Team Manager M&E). Mr. Santosh LA (Project Manager, M&E) & Mr. Raghavendra V (Finance Manager). The training was facilitated by Dr. Sandhya Gopakumaran (Director T&D & Mr. Abhishek Guria (Mission Manager, T&D).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Campus Program\/ Workshop<\/strong> on 2nd<\/sup><\/sup>\u00a0Mar ’26, a national level workshop was at NIRDPR, Hyderabad under project title \u201cPolicy Advocacy for Sustainable, Wage-Based Livelihood Models for Transgender and Gender-Diverse Communities from Rural India through consultation and policy advocacy\u201d funded by Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). In this workshop CBO and leaders from transgender & gender diverse community were present. The objective of the workshop was to share the finding of research study conducted on the livelihood models present in the market that for the community to take-up and have a discussion on way forward for the community in being part of the main stream economy of the country. In total 29 people participated in this workshop. The workshop was facilitated by T&D team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop brought together training providers, Sector Skill Councils, Resource Organisations such as NABARD, Institute of Co-operative Managament, RSETIs etc. that could be leveraged by the Community-based organisations of transgender persons for acquiring skills and pursue livelihood opportunities such as wage employment and self-employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under this project NIRDPR facilitated induction of two transgender persons in RSETI in Odisha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Online Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An online training session Due Diligence Procedure for New PIAs and Officials of SRLM for Arunachal Pradesh state was held on 5th<\/sup> Mar\u201926.  In the workshop the officials were oriented on the due diligence process of DDU-GKY2.0. The resource person for the session was Mr. Santosh LA (Project Manager, DDU-GKY). In this virtual session 30 officials were upskilled and oriented on DDU-GKY2.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DDU-GKY RC as CTSA has to provide support in capacity building activities organized by the state. In this month our officials at Andhra Pradesh delivered session on DDU-GKY2.0 to the officials of the SRLM & PIA in the state. In this program organized by the state the officials oriented more than 200 officials of the SRLM & PIA. The session was delivered by Mr. Pavan Kumar (PO) & Mr G Sudhir (PO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
