The theme, &#8220;Yoga for Self and Society,\u201d for IDY 2024&nbsp;underscored&nbsp;its&nbsp;dual&nbsp;role&nbsp;in&nbsp;personal&nbsp;wellness&nbsp;and&nbsp;communal&nbsp;harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout&nbsp;the&nbsp;event,&nbsp;several&nbsp;impactful&nbsp;activities&nbsp;were&nbsp;successfully&nbsp;conducted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Yoga&nbsp;shivirs&nbsp;and&nbsp;camps&nbsp;were&nbsp;organized&nbsp;at&nbsp;DDU-GKY&nbsp;Training&nbsp;Centres,&nbsp;engaging trainees and faculty in immersive sessions to foster&nbsp;physical&nbsp;and mental&nbsp;well-being.<\/li><li>Officials from NIRDPR, SRLMs &amp; PIAs, participated in dedicated yoga camps,&nbsp;promoting&nbsp;the&nbsp;integration&nbsp;of&nbsp;Yoga&nbsp;into&nbsp;professional&nbsp;environments.<\/li><li>The digital sphere saw vibrant engagement with actively sharing insightful&nbsp;social&nbsp;media&nbsp;posts&nbsp;highlighting&nbsp;the&nbsp;profound&nbsp;benefits&nbsp;of&nbsp;Yoga.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;collective&nbsp;efforts&nbsp;culminated&nbsp;in&nbsp;199&nbsp;events&nbsp;across&nbsp;all&nbsp;20&nbsp;State&nbsp;and&nbsp;Union&nbsp;Territories of NIRDPR as a CTSA, attracting approximately 8,800 participants. The Counselling cum Call center plays a pivotal role in creating awareness of the scheme, counseling the youth, registration of candidates in Kaushal Panjee and Grievance Redressal. Other outbound activities involve tracking of placed candidates, retention in Placements, the impact of the scheme on their livelihoods, feedback on the with regard to scheme, and training. For the smooth operations of the scheme and completion of targets as per the action plan; HMMU is organizing various camps in various blocks and districts in collaboration with SKUAST-Jammu for training in KVKs. During his interaction with the enrolled candidates in the training centre, he stressed upon the importance of skills in increasing the employability of the youth. Imagining a life that is balanced for a working woman in a way that she can manage her job responsibilities along with her household responsibilities wouldn\u2019t have been true until they started working with Himayat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saba Sharief joined as a Soft and English skill trainer in the Himayat project under DDU-GKY in Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through one of her relatives, she got to know about the placement-linked skill programme Himayat run by Govt. of India in the UT of Jammu &amp; Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was overwhelmed to see the positive transformation in the candidates. The programs were conducted on topics of Captive Employment Program. In these programs 104 personnel were upskilled\/ oriented on respective domains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Online Program for the month<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Online Orientation cum handholding session on Captive Employer was organized for the prospective Employers, CTSA &amp; States on 12<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;Jun\u201924. Total 24 participants from states, CTSA &amp; Employers participated in the programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Workshop on Kaushal Bharat Module for Implementation of Captive Employment Program <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the direction of competent authority, a one-day online orientation training program KB Module for Captive Employment Program was held on 19<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Jun\u201924. In this workshop officials from MoRD, oriented the SRLMs officials, Employers &amp; PIAs on the procedure &amp; process flow of the Kaushal Bharat Module of the Captive Employment Program. A total of 84 participants attended the online training &amp; were up-skilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Support to SRLMS in Capacity Building &nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As CTSA, DDU-GKY RC NIRDPR provided handholding support to the SRLMs as per their demand by deputing resource persons for delivering sessions on required themes. In the month, DDU-GKY RC NIRDPR deputed resource persons to deliver sessions on KB, and Project Closure in DDU-GKY in the states of Tamil Nadu and Assam.
