Workshop Cum Training On Rozgar Manch & Forensic Audit Conducted, Sikkim<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A workshop cum training session was held at the State Institute of Capacity Building from 8th<\/sup> to 10th<\/sup> May 2024, focusing on two crucial aspects of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana initiative i.e.  Rozgar Manch and Forensic Audit. Attendees included Block Level Coordinators, District Program Managers, State Program Managers and representatives of the PIAs which provided an in depth understanding of Rozgar Manch a vital component of the DDU-GKY program aimed at facilitating job placements for rural youths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session began with an introduction to Rozgar Manch by Project Officer NIRD&PR Mr. Sasti Roy,  emphasizing its role as a platform for connecting job seekers with employers and briefed about  how to effectively utilize Rozgar Manch within the framework of DDU-GKY programs. Additionally, participants engaged in rigorous session on Forensic Audit led by SPM Finance Mr. Samir Tamang a crucial aspect of ensuring transparency and accountability in program implementation, where participants learned about forensic auditing techniques to the specific needs of DDU-GKY projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presence of  the COO DDU-GKY, Project Officer NIRD&PR, and Project Officer DDU-GKY Sikkim added value to the event, providing leadership guidance and expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the workshop cum training proved to be a valuable opportunity for the participants to enhance the skills, exchange knowledge, and strengthen the commitment to the effective implementation of rural youth employment programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rozgar Manch workshop conducted by TRLM<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  <\/strong>A total of 10 employers, 9 PIA officials, 18 BPMs and around 300 candidates have participated in this workshop held on 15 May 2024 in Agartala, Tripura. The workshop was chaired by Addl CEO. Mr.Harish STM, DDU-GKY NIRDPR Hyderabad conducted the Rozagar Manch workshop with a live demo to all the officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workshop on DDU-GKY Project Closure for ASRLM SMMU Officials<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A two-day handholding workshop on DDU-GKY Project Closure under Skills Vertical of ASRLM was held on 6th<\/sup> & 7th<\/sup> June, 2024 at Hotel Ratnamouli Palace, Guwahati for the ASRLM SMMU staff. For this workshop, Shri T. Jagadeswar Reddy, Project Officer & Shri A. R. Amarnath, Project Manager \u2013 Accounts of NIRD&PR were the resource persons.  The main objective of conducting this workshop was to brief the officials of ASRLM on project closure procedure, financial closure procedure & submission of closure through Kaushal Bharat portal mode. The Training was also attended by CTSA NIRD officials for Assam & FMCS (attached with Finance & Accounts team under Skills) staff of ASRLM. A total of 25 participants attended the said workshop.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women in Skilling in HIMAYAT: Tania Bali<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Women never lack the skills but women in skills is not very common untill someone visits Himayat Training centres in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. It\u2019s never a Monday job for them; it has always been fun and contentment to be a part of such a prestigious and empowering scheme of Government of India. The undying spirit and passion of the women staff that has led the PIAs in achieving various milestones in the implementation of Project- to mobilize candidates, counseling sessions , commencement of  trainings in Training Centres, motivation,  parents meet, placement and many more activities. It will be an honour for me in sharing such a profile:   Tania Bali .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tania Bali joined as a Soft skill and English skill trainer in Himayat project under DDU-GKY with PIA M\/s Ultimate Energy Resource Private Limited. She is a post graduate with Masters in English & B.Ed. Before joining Himayat in March 20222 , she had 3 year of experience as Office coordinator at Oiltech ( 23 July 2018 to 31 August ,2021)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She came to know about this scheme (DDU-GKY) through one of her ex-colleagues, when she got to know about the placement being offered to the candidates after the completion of the training She decided to be the part of the scheme for the betterment and bright future of the unprivileged candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Soft Skill and English Skill trainer she worked on the overall personality of the candidates, prepared them for the interviews, groomed them and made the candidates speak in English that helped candidates to face the interviews and got placed in well reputed organizations. She was overwhelmed to see the candidates completely transformed. She is actively involved in tracing the placed candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training program conducted in the month of May, 2024<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the month on May\u201924 total 5 programs were organised by Training & Development team, DDUGKY Resource Cell, NIRDPR. The programs conducted include 4 online programs and 1 offline mode program at NIRDPR. The programs were conducted on topics of Captive Employment Program, Rozgar Manch and Placement Procedure. In these programs 170 personnel were upskilled\/ oriented in the respective domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Online Program for the month<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Online Orientation cum handholding session on Rozgar Manch & Placement Procedure for was organized for the officials of Arunachal Pradesh SRLMs & officials of SRLMs & PIA of Jammu & Kashmir on 2nd<\/sup> May\u201924 and 17th<\/sup> & 27th<\/sup> May\u201924 respectively. Total Fifity three officials SRLMs, PIAs & Employers participated in these programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workshop on Kaushal Bharat Module for Implementation of Captive Employment Program <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A three day workshop on finalizing KB Module for Captive Employment Program was held on 29th<\/sup> \u2013 31st<\/sup> May\u201924. In this workshop officials from MoRD, NIRDPR & NABCONS and DDU-GKY team participated and worked on finalizing the KB module of the program.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Support to SRLMS in Capacity Building <\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As CTSA DDU-GKY provided handholding support to the SRLMs as per their demand by deputing resource persons to for delivering sessions on required themes. In the month DDU-GKY deputed resource persons to deliver sessions on Kaushal Bharat & DDU-GKY SOP for state officials of Kerala SRLM from 13th<\/sup> to 22nd<\/sup> May\u201924 and for orientation of officials of state on Rozgar Manch for Tripura SRLM. Through this capacity building support was provided officials of the state were up-skilled & orientated on relevant themes as per their requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overcoming Adversity: The Journey of Arunthathi Rajesh<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Arunthathi Rajesh, daughter of Rajesh, a hardworking coolie worker, hails from a modest family in the Panachikkad gram panchayat of Kottayam district. Despite the financial hardships that plagued her family, Arunthathi nurtured big dreams. An average student in her academic pursuits, she faced the challenge of continuing her education beyond higher secondary due to limited financial resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, a ray  of hope appeared through a casual conversation with friends who introduced her to the DDU-GKY project implemented by Eduspark International Pvt. Ltd at Pantheerankavu. Determined to change her fate, Arunthathi decided to enroll in a five-month web development course offered by Eduspark International Pvt. Ltd., even though she had little prior knowledge in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initial days were a struggle. The world of coding and web development was alien to her, and she  often found herself on the verge of quitting. Yet, she refused to give up. With the unwavering support and guidance of her trainer, Mr. Abhilal, an experienced web developer, Arunthathi began to grasp the  intricacies of web development. Through perseverance and sheer determination, she completed the course with flying colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armed with her new skills and a certificate in web development, Arunthathi set her sights on Dubai, a city brimming with opportunities. The journey was not easy; finding a job proved to be a daunting task. The lack of experience was a significant barrier, and rejections became a common occurrence. Yet, Arunthathi\u2019s resolve remained unshaken. She continued her job hunt with unrelenting determination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, her efforts bore fruit. Arunthathi secured a position as a back-end developer at Web Smart IT Solutions in Dubai with a monthly salary of 70000\/- INR. This job marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life, one that was built on hard work , resilience, and an unyielding spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HIMAYAT has been instrumental in not only providing training platforms but also has a proven record of providing sustainable placement opportunities to transform one\u2019s life. One such platform had been utilised by a village girl in 2013 to achieve her dream of becoming self independent and lead a life of dignity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While working in Chandigarh, she got the offer from The Body Shop <\/strong>for Jammu location. She accepted the offer after working for about 2.5 years outside her home state. She joined The Body Shop<\/strong> outlet on 5th<\/sup> September, 2015<\/strong> in Wave Mall<\/strong>, Jammu as Make up \u2013Artist <\/strong>with a <\/strong>salary of Rs.16000\/- <\/strong>per month.<\/strong> The Body Shop<\/strong> is a British  cosmetics, skin care and perfume company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She chose the best Option from the basket available at that time and since then It\u2019s been more than 8 years<\/strong> that she is still working with the same employer, The Body Shop<\/strong>. In due course of time she enhanced her qualification from 10th<\/sup> to Graduation and got various promotions and increments. Today she is Senior Make-up<\/strong> Artist<\/strong> with a salary of Rs.36000\/-<\/strong> per month excluding the incentives. Her job profile includes Sales, Demo of the product, Testing products, Managing Stock, Visual Merchandise, Customer Service Delivery and many more aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
